Book a tour My wife and I did the distillery tour. The knowledge shared with passion is awesome. The tour takes you from the garden right through the distilling process. This is followed by a fab tasting session of there different products. Book a tour in advance so you do not miss it. The distillery buildings and setting are not to be missed even if just stopping for a coffee.PhillipB294
The best gin... EVER! Hands down the best gin I have ever tasted. Ever. And that is saying something! We had the gin tasting and enjoyed a glass of The Source gin and tonic in your restaurant (we couldn't get on a tour). Ended up buying 2 bottles of The Source gin as we both agreed that it was the best we have ever tasted. A huge thank you to the team who answered all our questions. We are looking forward to having another glass now as it has just arrived by courier!djdonaldson1971
Yeah to the spirit world Having done a previous visit to this fine distillery and done some fabulous tastings, I wanted to enjoy, and be educated by doing their distillery tour.
Total value for money, John - our guide - was superb, interactive and good-humoured and we were. Impressed with Desiree (and Ash) and her practical steps she has taken to create this amazing place and superb world-class spirits.
Not just that, it is evident their is a lovely "culture" of people out there who work in a heavenly place. Yeah to the spirit world.janellefletcher
This establishment is well worth a visit. The distiing industry is really only young in NZ but the tour is well worth it. They explain the process from the barley to the final product whether that be whiskey. Vodka or gin. They also produce lovely butterscotch, orange and elderflower liquers. The whole complex is well set out and they have amazing food in their small boutique cafe.Dave C.
A brave concept establishing a distillery, very well executed. Out of curiosity as single malt whiskey drinkers we popped in . So worth a visit- beautiful setting, very professional team- warm welcome with a tasting thrown in - hmm very clever as we did buy the Vodka ( so smooth ). Ben was knowledgeable. They also have a cafe - small interesting menu You can book for tastings and tours, since discovered they make fantastic cocktails!Gwen S.
